Hi all
The world lost a great deal when we lost John Lennon, but he lives on in our hearts.
I'm so happy to see a tribe dedicated to him.
Nice to meet you all.

Re: New here ... long time John Lennon fan...
Thu, September 14, 2006 - 9:00 AMI was ten years old on Dec. 8, 1980. My life was changed forever on that day and if not for John Lennon my life would hardly resemble what it is today and the man I would grow up to become ~ of that I am unequivocally certain. He opened my mind, he opened my heart, his example taught me to be a better human being who has the ability to walk in other men and women's shoes. He taught me to imagine. I would not be a musician today ~ at least not the calibre of musician I've become anyways. He taught me to sing and play and write from the heart and that is infinitely of more a value than any music instructor or any other artist has ever inspired or bestowed upon me. I am 36 years old today and on the verge of recording my first CD. I am dedicating it to John and my 12 year old daughter. John Lennon is indeed my saviour and messiah (deal with it Mr. Mod).
Anni, welcome!

Thu, September 28, 2006 - 2:12 AMI remember the first time I saw John Lennon... it was on the news.. they had just arrived here in the U.S. and were getting off a plane... I think I was 6 or 7 years old... he was always there ... so when he died it was like an end of an era...
Thanks for the welcome Danny nice to meet you. :o)
